  • Research

Our active ingredient has been researched and studied for more than 25 plus years. When selecting a base for our consumers it was critical that we could stand by the data. Oil of lemon eucalyptus (OLE) has undergone numerous efficacy studies for mosquitoes, ticks and midges.

  • Process

Also known as p-Menthane-3,8-diol (PMD), is obtained through a process that refines eucalyptus oil to increase its insect-repelling properties. Unlike synthetic chemicals, our active ingredient is environmentally friendly and gentle on the skin, making it an ideal choice for families and eco-conscious individuals.

  • Testing

The effectiveness lies in its unique ability to mask the natural body scents that attract insects. It creates a protective barrier on the skin, confusing and repelling insects, thus reducing the likelihood of bites. OLE has been extensively tested and proven to be effective against a wide range of biting insects, including mosquitoes, ticks.

Why Prevention Matters.

Mosquitoes and ticks are far more than just pesky intruders; they are carriers of some of the world's most serious diseases. Mosquitoes are notorious for spreading illnesses like malaria, dengue fever, Zika virus, West Nile virus, and chikungunya, impacting millions globally each year.

These diseases can have devastating effects, ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness and even death. Ticks, on the other hand, are well-known for transmitting Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and other tick-borne illnesses. The impact of these diseases is profound, affecting not only individual health but also public health systems and communities. Protecting yourself against these tiny but formidable vectors is essential for maintaining health and wellbeing in areas where they are prevalent.

We can’t keep all the pests away… but we certainly try!
